Summer Session at the Basin

The Summer Session at the Basin, a new addition to the vibrant Wellington event scene, took place this year under the perfect summer sun. Organised by the same team that brought us the iconic Beers at the Basin and the Wellington Wine & Food Festival, this event had all the ingredients for an unforgettable day out with friends. It was an honour to capture this inaugural event.

The Summer Session was indeed a sensory delight. A top-tier selection of beverages was on offer, ranging from craft beers, ciders, and seltzers, to fine wine and the unique addition of champagne, gin, and cocktail bars, adding a touch of sophistication to the event. This, paired with delicious food offerings and an atmosphere buzzing with joy, made for an exquisite day out.

The real star of the show was the live music. Some of New Zealand’s top musicians graced the event with their performances, keeping the festival alive and creating a high-energy vibe that flowed throughout the day.
