Six60 Saturdays
Sky Stadium, Wellington
Concerts are a great way to bring people together and experience the magic of music. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending the Six60 Saturdays concert at Sky Stadium in Wellington. Although the concert was initially scheduled to be on the 29th of October, it was pushed back a day due to the infamous Wellington Wind. But, it was worth the wait.
The venue, Sky Stadium, is a fantastic location for hosting such events. It boasts ample space for a large crowd and the stadium’s open-air design allows for a vibrant atmosphere that captures the energy of the performers and the audience alike. It was truly an incredible experience to be a part of.
Brady is great to work with. He captures the brief perfectly and is able to adapt to any changes at the last minute if required. He’s always working, running around looking for the best angles to shoot from and has a real creative eye for capturing concerts and music events brilliantly. We’ll definitely work with Brady again in the future
The opening acts were equally impressive, with Tones and I, Supergroove, Coterie, and Niko Walters getting the crowd hyped up for the main act, Six60. Each act brought their unique style and energy to the stage, and it was great to see such diverse talent on display.
When Six60 finally took to the stage, the crowd erupted into a frenzy of cheers and excitement. Their dynamic performance and incredible showmanship kept the energy level high throughout their set. They played a mix of their old and new songs, including fan favorites like “Don’t Forget Your Roots” and “White Lines.” It was evident that the band had a strong connection with their fans, with the audience singing along and dancing to every beat.
As a photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the concert’s magic through my lens. The vibrant lighting, impressive stage design, and passionate performances all came together to create a visual spectacle that I was thrilled to be able to capture. From the opening acts to the main event, each artist’s unique energy was palpable, making for some truly spectacular photos.
Overall, the Six60 Saturdays concert at Sky Stadium was an unforgettable experience. The music, the energy, and the crowd made for an incredible night that I will never forget. It was truly a testament to the power of live music and the role it plays in bringing people together. If you ever have the chance to attend a concert at Sky Stadium, I highly recommend it.
