Last month my father and I travelled to Vietnam from New Zealand (via Sydney and Kuala Lumpur) for a 20 day holiday exploring Vietnam! Having been hooked on FunForLouis‘ & Casey Neistat‘s daily vlogs of their lives, and Devin Supertramp‘s epic videos – I too decided I would create a daily vlog of our adventure covering every aspect of where we slept, visited, ate and things we did over twenty days! Enjoy!… Read more »

CategoriesSit Down with Philip Bloom
A few years ago I was fortunate enough to sit down with renowned filmmaker Philip Bloom. At the time I didn’t quite appreciate what a big deal he was! In the past few years as I have progressed into the video industry, I’ve been an avid follower of Philips work and it’s simply ground breaking. It’s easy to see why CNN recently booked him to shoot their documentary series The… Read more »

Travelling to Auckland (and back) on Kiwirail’s Northern Explorer
New Zealand’s longest running passenger service, the Northern Explorer is a long distance scenic train service running between Auckland and Wellington, stopping at Palmerston North, Ohakune, National Park and Hamilton. My wife & I recently had a wedding in Auckland, and being baby-free for the weekend (Thanks in-laws!) we decided to take the train up instead. I think being a kiwi, we’re spoilt for scenery in this country and find it hard to appreciate. After… Read more »

What do my wedding albums look like?
The best way to see the impressive quality of my wedding albums is by seeing them in person, and falling love with their rigid pages, super accurate colour tones, and stunning layout. Failing that, the next best thing is seeing this video!
Sudbury – Wellington Wedding Venue
A few years ago when my wife and I were looking for our own wedding venue, we scoured Wellington trying to find the perfect wedding venue, that wasn’t mega expensive! In the end, we decided we wanted it to be in the Wairarapa and had our wedding at The Landing in Masterton. However, one venue in Wellington that nearly ticked all our boxes was Sudbury on the Kapiti Coast. The main deal breaker for us… Read more »
The Ultimate Wedding Playlist
With the rise of services such as iTunes & Spotify – getting an epic collection of songs for your wedding together is now easier than ever! With weddings costing more than ever, one of the first things to start trying to cut back on is having a band or a DJ at your event.
